New Orleans jeweler Jack Sutton filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne in October of 2007 for payments owed to him. Lil Wayne purchased a $138,000 diamond ring and a $32,000 gold-and-diamond necklace. He was to be paid in monthly installments however only received one payment of $24,000. A judge has ordered the rapper to pay Jack Sutton $146,000 with an annual interest rate of 11%. The attorney of Jack Sutton says he expects the payment to be made early this week but can be resolved simply by having Lil Wayne return the jewelry |
